INpower, INspider or 2INpower – an overview of the differences

The Rotor INpower DM Road is the most affordable entry-level option: single-sided power measurement via strain gauges in the left crank arm, electronics housed in the crank axle, and tool-free replaceable AA batteries with a runtime of approximately 300 hours. Data is transmitted via ANT+.

The Rotor INspider measures the combined power output of both legs via four strain gauges in the spider, can be installed without special tools using the ROTOR OCP Direct Mount System, and provides additional metrics such as TORQUE 360 and Optimum Chainring Angle (OCA) to optimise pedalling technique.

The Rotor 2INpower DM Road and the 2INpower DM MTB are the technically most sophisticated models, featuring fully dual-sided measurement via strain gauges in the crank axle and the right crank arm, as well as Torque Effectiveness and Pedal Smoothness as additional training metrics.
