Rotor INpower DM Road Crankset

The Rotor INPower DM Road is an interesting option for anyone looking to acquire a power meter. It comes at a competitive price and offers a functionality that is well up to par with the top dogs in the power meter market.

The Rotor INPower DM Road is a single-sided power meter. The pedaling force - and ultimately power - is measured with strain gauges in the left side crank arm. All necessary electronic components are built into the crank set's axle, offering a maximum of protection from moisture, dirt, and mechanical impact.

As energy source off-the-shelf AA (rechargeable) Batterys are employed. Batterys are also stored in the crank axle and can be replaced without the need for any tools. Battery life is equivalent to 300h+ of riding.

The Rotor INPower DM Road uses ANT+ to communicate with head unit, making it compatible with pretty much any ANT+ cycle computer and with the Bluetooth Smart technology you can connect it to the most Smartphones and Polar units.

In addition to the regular power data, the INpower measured "Torque Effectiveness" and "Pedal Smoothness". Most new head units support this data and are able to display it properly.

Furthermore, the Rotor INPower DM Road is also compatible with Rotor's Q-Rings (oval chain rings). Because of the Direct Mount chain rings the installation is as easy as possible. Just use a 8mm hex wrench for installing the chain rings to the INPower crank arms.

Compatibility

Thanks to Rotor's UPP-concept (universal bottom bracket), the new INpower is compatible with nearly all bike frames. The INpower is compatible with the following bottom bracket standards: BSA, ITA, BBright, BB386 EVO, BB30, BB86, PF30, BB92/89. Exceptions are: BB90 und BB95. These two standards are not compatible with the INpower.
