Wahoo Elemnt ACE GPS Bike Computer

The Wahoo Elemnt ACE is the largest and most powerful bike computer ever. The bike computer is equipped with a 3.8'' TFT toch screen color display and navigation function. The ACE has an ambient light sensor. The screen brightness automatically adjusts to lighting conditions. One battery charge is enough for up to 30h operating time.

Equipped with Bluetooth, ANT+ and WiFi, it easily connects with sensors, smart trainers and smart phones. The Wahoo app (iOS and Android) allows for an easy setup. The display can be configured according to your preferences.

Display

The color display measures 3.8 inches and can display 16 million colors. An ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the screen brightness to the lighting conditions. Difficult climbs or the training zones are color-coded to focus the user experience on the ride.

Buil in wind sensor

Wahoo's first bike computer to feature a built in Wind Sensor. Aero effect plays a huge part in the development of cycling and now you can see those effects on your head unit.

Measure effective head and tailwinds to see how position and other factors impact your ride. Sit on the front or tuck in behind and you'll be able to see those effects in real-time and analyse post ride in the Wahoo app.

Operation

The ACE is operated via buttons and touch screen. The setup of the unit can be done comfortably with the Wahoo app.

Battery

The battery of the ACE allows for 30h of operating time. The ACE is charged via a waterproof and dust-proof USB-C port.

Connectivity

Except for charging, the ACE does not need to be connected to a cable. With WLAN, Bluetooth and ANT+, the ACE can be paired with all common ANT+ and Bluetooth sensors (cadence, speed, heart rate, power meter, smart trainer) and also supports electronic shifting from Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo. Smart trainers equipped with ANT+ FE-C can be controlled with the ACE. It offers pop-up notifications on the screen to inform about calls, SMS, emails, WhatsApp, Signal, Line, Telegram and WeChat on iOS and Android. However, this only works if the smartphone is taken along when riding.

Navigation

The ACE comes with a dual band GPS receiver. This significantly improves the accuracy of the GPS tracking.

The ACE comes with maps of Europe, North America, Asia, Oceania and South America. Maps for Russia, Asia and Africa can be easily downloaded and installed via WiFi. Routes from Strava, Ride With GPS, and Komoot can be easily imported.

You can select an address or point of interest as a destination in the Wahoo app. An optimized route with turn-by-turn directions is calculated and transmitted to the ACE via Bluetooth. You can save your favorite locations either directly in the ACE or in the Wahoo app.

The back-on-track feature guides you back to the planned route if you ever get lost.

Once connected to compatible apps (Strava, Ride With GPS, Best Bike Split, Komoot, MTB Project, SingleTracks), routes saved there are automatically and wirelessly uploaded to ACE. Completed rides are automatically uploaded to all paired accounts. Synchronization can be done via Bluetooth and WiFi.

The ACE is perfectly integrated with popular applications. Strava: Track effort and live segments, including progress and final push to improve your PR or KOM. Best Bike Split: Guides you through your race with power and speed based course goals. Once the route is loaded onto ACE, you can also ride it indoors on a smart trainer. Komoot: turn-by-turn directions with pop-up and LED indicators for Komoot routes. Ride With GPS: Turn-by-turn directions with pop-up and LED indicators for Ride with GPS routes.

Electronic shifting

The ACE is compatible with electronic shifters and displays the selected gear. The ACE is compatible with Shimano Dura Ace Di2, SRAM eTAP, FSA WE and Campagnolo EPS.

Compatible sensors

The ACE is compatible with a wide range of external sensors such as power meters, heart rate belts, cadence sensors or electronic shifters

Memory

The memory space has been increased from 32 to 64GB. This is more than enough space for detailed maps and saved routes and workouts.
