Zipp Super-9 Disc Centerlock MY25 Tubeless Disc Wheel

The Zipp Super 9 Carbon Tubeless disc wheel for disc brakes is a super fast disc wheel for triathlon and time trial. The Super 9 is aerodynamically superior and yet light and robust. The new graphics are applied using a direct print process. This is much more robust than the old stickers. In addition, this does not disturb the golf ball structure of the disc. At 1050g, the Super 9 is no lightweight. However, the aerodynamic advantages easily make up for the weight.

Compatible tires

The Zipp Super 9 wheel is has a rim width of 23mm (inside). Both tubless and folding tires with a tube can be mounted.

Aerodynamics

The Super 9 has the characteristic dimples - the golf ball structure that ensures that the air flows better and with less friction over the rim surface and there is less turbulence. The third generation of the patented Advanced Boundary Layer Control technology (ABLC) has up to four times as many dimples as before.

Weight

The Zipp Super 9 rear wheel has a low weight of only 1050g despite its superior aerodynamic capabilities.

Compatible cassettes

The Zipp Super-9 Disc Centerlock MY25 are available with 2 different freewheel bodies:

Shimano/SRAM 10/11/12-speed: The classic Shimano HG freewheel. All 10, 11 and 12-speed Shimano Road and SRAM Race 10 and 11-speed cassettes can be mounted.

SRAM XDR 12-speed: The XDR freewheel body is only compatible with SRAM XDR 12-speed cassettes.

Hubs

With the Super 9 Zipp uses the ZR1 SL Disc Brake hubs. The hubs are equipped with sealed and maintenance-free industrial bearings and run very low friction.

Lifetime warranty

Zipp wheels are rugged. So rugged that Zipp offers a lifetime warranty against production defects! The warranty is non-transferable and only redeemable with proof of purchase. In addition, you must register for the warranty at Zipp after purchase.
